GRANTS LEAD
WHO ARE WE
The Queensland Suns are Queensland's premier men's and mixed netball representative association, providing pathways for athletes, coaches, officials and volunteers to compete at the highest level. Guided by our Strategic Plan and a renewed vision for the future, we are committed to creating opportunities, building pathways and raising standards across our sport.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Queensland Suns is seeking a Grants Lead to help secure the funding that will shape the future of our Association.
Government funding represents one of the greatest opportunities to grow our programs, strengthen our governance and reduce the financial burden on our athletes. This role will identify, prepare and submit grant applications across local, state and federal government programs while establishing the systems and relationships that position the Queensland Suns as a trusted funding partner.
Working closely with the President and Board, the successful applicant will build a sustainable grant pipeline, manage funding opportunities from application through to acquittal, and help unlock new initiatives that directly benefit players, coaches, officials and volunteers.
This role will play an important part in delivering the Queensland Suns Strategic Plan by supporting our long-term vision of becoming Australia's leading men's and mixed netball program.
